Over the past 15+ years – it has been my honor to help build Immunophotonics from its earliest vision into a company with great science, a strong global network and a mission that matters deeply to patients and clinicians. As we prepare for the next chapter of growth, I am excited and proud to welcome Miguel Zubizarreta as the new CEO of Immunophotonics. I will continue to support the company, together with my co-founder Dr. Tomas Hode, as committed as ever in my new role.

For those that don’t know Miguel, he is an accomplished entrepreneur who has successfully founded and built a billion-dollar business that spans across industries – including healthcare. His track record of scaling businesses and building investor value comes at critical time for Immunophotonics as we are rapidly advancing our clinical and commercial strategies. He is a visionary leader, man of impact and someone who will bring discipline along with inspiration to our mission. Since Miguel’s first investment in 2020, we have been in close contact nearly every week, working together on strategy, development, partnerships, and the many challenges of building a biotech company.

Miguel, alongside the newly appointed President and industry veteran Dr. Robert Arch, bring world class leadership and a fresh perspective to the company, all while continuing to be supported by the long-standing founder and prior CEO.  This transition represents a real opportunity for Immunophotonics – and I remain committed to supporting the Company as a director, advisor and founder – focused on empowering the team and ensuring that patients, partners and shareholders see continuity and share in my excitement of what is to come.

I look forward to working alongside Miguel, Robert, and the entire team – as well as our partners and shareholders – to write the next chapter of Immunophotonics together.
