Immunophotonics announced the completion of the SAKK 66/17 Phase 1b/2a multicenter clinical trial, conducted in collaboration with the Swiss Cancer Institute. This marks a major step forward in evaluating the immunologically mediated anticancer effects of IP-001, our proprietary immune-stimulating drug, following thermal ablation in patients with advanced solid tumors.
The trial assessed both safety and efficacy of IP-001 across a range of tumor types, including melanoma and soft-tissue sarcoma. With all patients now treated, data analysis is underway—and we’re optimistic about what’s ahead.
