GENERAL COUNSEL & SVP OF OPERATIONSMr. Hurst joined Immunophotonics in 2019 after working in private practice, where he provided outside general counsel services to numerous startups and small businesses. At Immunophotonics, he uses his dual background as a J.D./M.B.A. to oversee the company’s legal matters, operations management, and IP portfolio.

GENERAL COUNSEL & SVP OF OPERATIONS
After studying marketing and international business at Truman State University, Mr. Hurst obtained his J.D./M.B.A. from the University of Missouri – Columbia, where he served on the executive editorial board of the Missouri Law Review and completed externship programs at the Supreme Court of Missouri and the Missouri Public Service Commission. Prior to joining Immunophotonics, Mr. Hurst primarily practiced corporate and transactional law for dozens of clients at the firm of Evans & Dixon, L.L.C. in St. Louis, focusing on providing outside general counsel services to small businesses and early-stage, high-growth ventures. As a secondary focus at the firm, he also gained experience representing clients in business, environmental, and IP litigation.

Mr. Hurst joined Immunophotonics in early 2019 after spending several years as outside counsel for the company beginning in 2015. At Immunophotonics, he employs his dual background by overseeing all aspects of the company's legal matters, internal operations management, and intellectual property portfolio. He also serves as the corporate Secretary of Immunophotonics.
