Dr. Knüsel serves as a consultant to Immunophotonics in the field of Interventional Radiology. He is a Managing Doctor of Interventional Radiology at Kantonsspital Graubünden in Chur. Dr. Knüsel has 20+ years’ experience in interventional radiology and expertise in clinical research, MRI, medical imaging, cancer, radiology, and ultrasound. He received his Medical Degree at the University of Zurich, followed by a Residency in Diagnosic Radiology at the University Hospital of Zurich and Kantonsspital Baden. He then pursued a fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at the Sunnybrook Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada and Mount Sinai & University Health Network Hospitals in Toronto, Canada. In 2009, he served as Senior Physician in Radiology at Kantonsspital St. Gallen, focusing on Interventional Radiology. In 2010, he joined Kantonsspital Graubünden in Churas Head of Interventional Radiology, and in 2013 he received the European Board of Interventional Radiology Certificate of Competence (EBIR). He is a member of the scientific program committee and past-president of the IROS congress.
